Back in 2014, we published a blog article about the top questions to ask when researching a senior living community. It was popular! The article was accessed often, we were invited as guest speakers on the topic, and our list was published externally to be used as a handout. In 2017, we brought it back from the archives with a fresh new style, including this catchy infographic to make the information easy to digest, and a free downloadable version of the questions to take on-the-go during a tour.

Today, the free downloadable version of the checklist is still available to click, save, and print, and there are a few updates to it for 2020. Take it with you and make notes during your tour of a senior community!

Each day, scores of people begin the search for a senior living community for themselves or a loved one, and for each of those people, questions are abundant. Here's our take on the dozen you can't forget to ask.

As you dive into researching different senior living communities, trust your instincts. Does the community seem to offer options that fit with your lifestyle, support it, and enhance it? Do you feel the community offers top-of-the line services and quality of life for a fair value? Lastly, does it feel like all these things are brought to you by people you can trust? Don’t compromise on these things; this is all about you.

Best of luck on your search for a senior living community. If we can ever be a resource for you, or if you're interested in touring our Dousman or Cecil locations, don’t hesitate to contact us: info@threepillars.org / 800.848.5306 / www.threepillars.org
