  • Riverside Lodge Activity Area ($Donor Choice | Goal $2,000)

With the recent opening of our new Riverside Lodge Assisted Living Community, we have an extensive list of recreation activity items that we would like to have for our residents. We would like to purchase several items that include bocce ball, ring toss, bean bags, exercise stretch bands, card games, dice, and bingo, as well as bins and carts to store and transport all of the various items. We would like to raise $2,000 to purchase these items.

  • Elevated Garden Beds ($1,300)

We are adding or replacing 10 elevated garden beds on our campus for residents to plant and care for flowers and vegetables throughout the growing and harvest season. We are just shy of our goal of $3,500 to make this dream a reality.

  • Holiday Décor ($500)

Help decorate our newly renovated Health Care Center neighborhoods (Meadows, Rivers, Woods) and our new Riverside Lodge CBRF with porch and living room/fireplace décor and tabletop centerpieces for the various holidays.

  • Ice Cream Socials ($150)

    This is a resident favorite!

  • Adaptive Equipment ($60-$150)

This includes hearing amplifiers, wireless Bluetooth and basic headphones, book stands, portable DVD players, and dry erase message boards.

  • Beauty Salon Services ($Donor Choice)

Donations will fund beauty salon services for those with limited financial resources. (A typical haircut is $20.)

  • Entertainment ($200-$400)

This includes sponsoring musicians, comedians, expert speakers, and other forms of entertainment for our residents.

  • Craft Supplies ($100-$400)

We appreciate items such as small canvases, new paints and brushes, and paint pads.

  • Coffee Corners ($50)

We operate several hospitality stations throughout our campus that offer complimentary cups of self-serve coffee and cappuccino. Please consider sponsoring one or more of the stations so we can continue to treat our residents, guests, and staff.

  • Yarn

Our resident crafters would be grateful for full skeins of bright colored yarn (knitted worsted 4ply is preferred) to make hats, mittens, and scarfs which will then be donated to various local charities. Donations of yarn may be dropped off at any Concierge desk on campus. Gift cards to Hobby Lobby, Jo-Anne Fabrics, or Walmart are also appreciated.

Featured Wish List Item - Elevated Gardening Beds (Goal $1,300) Help Three Pillars plant the seeds for healthy minds and bodies!

Gardening makes a significant impact on older adults. It improves memory and verbal expression while promoting healthy minds and active bodies. It also supports meaningful social engagement and sensory interaction, and leads to better motor skills, confidence, and sleep. Three Pillars is adding 10 elevated garden beds so residents can plant and care for a variety of flowers and vegetables, and reap all of the benefits mentioned above.

We are just shy of our $3,500 goal to make this dream a reality before spring arrives. We need to raise $1,300 by March 1 so we can order and assemble the beds in time for planting season.
