NOVEMBER 13, 2025 - Three Pillars Senior Living Communities earned the highest possible rating from U.S. News & World Report as a nationally-recognized “Best” skilled nursing facility in two of two possible categories: long-term care and short-term rehabilitation.
NOVEMBER 5, 2025 - Three Pillars Senior Living Communities is proud to announce its Assisted Living Communities—Riverside Lodge Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Compass Point Catered Assisted Living—have received deficiency-free recertification surveys from the Wisconsin Department of Health and Human Services.
SEPTEMBER 30, 2025 - Great Place to Work Institute, and its senior care partner Activated Insights, have honored Three Pillars Senior Living Communities with certification as a Great Place to Work, the third straight year the organization has received the distinction. The certification process involved surveying 100 percent of employees on Three Pillars’ campus and evaluating more than 60 elements of team members’ experience on the job.
SEPTEMBER 25, 2025 - Compass Point resident Dorothy Barr may have found a new career: talk show host! Dorothy and Kelsey Pangborn, Three Pillars' Executive Director of Marketing and Communications, traveled to the FOX6 studios September 25 for an appearance on "Real Milwaukee" to talk about Centenarian Day, Three Pillars, and Dorothy's secrets to a long, happy 101 years of life...and counting.
JULY 11, 2025 - Just 16 months after the groundbreaking, Three Pillars Senior Living Communities welcomed a crowd of over 200 people to a ribbon-cutting ceremony July 11 to celebrate the opening of The Fields At Three Pillars, Wisconsin’s most unique active adult community. The ceremony featured remarks from Three Pillars’ President and CEO, Mark Strautman, Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director, Kelly Webster, Dousman Area Chamber of Commerce President, Cindy Queen, and Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow.
JUNE 17, 2025 - The last truss was placed atop our 4-story east Loft at The Fields this week - a huge reason to gather people and celebrate...with markers! Thanks to Oconomowoc Area Chamber of Commerce, Wellspring Construction Group, Board Chair and Compensation Committee Chair, William Huelsman, and our dedicated staff for taking part in the occasion on a glorious morning.
JUNE 5, 2025 - Three Pillars Senior Living Communities proudly announces the hiring of two new executive directors. Natalie Miko joins the organization as Executive Director of Healthcare Services and Rachel Wiesner as Executive Director of Hospitality.
APRIL 15, 2025 - U.S. News & World Report has released its 2025 list of “Best Senior Living Communities” andThree Pillars Senior Living Communities has retained its position as a nationally-recognized top-rated Continuing Care Retirement Community. Three Pillars also received “Best” rankings - the highest possible - in Independent Living and Assisted Living.
APRIL 14, 2025 - Exactly one year to the day from its expansion groundbreaking ceremony, Three Pillars Senior Living Communities welcomed a crowd of over 120 people to dedicate the cornerstone of the Welcome Center at its active adult community - The Fields At Three Pillars - on a gorgeous spring afternoon.
FEBRUARY 6, 2025 - The Arbor Day Foundation has named Three Pillars Senior Living Communities a 2024 Tree Campus for its impressive dedication to enhancing community well-being through education, investment, and community engagement around trees. To earn Tree Campus recognition, Three Pillars upheld five rigorous core standards including establishing a tree advisory committee, maintaining a facility tree care plan, completing a community forestry project, sponsoring a celebration event that highlights the connection between trees and human health, and investing in a campus tree program.
FEBRUARY 3, 2025 - Three Pillars Senior Living Communities is proud to share its senior director of projects, Jeffery Beegle, CHEC, has been appointed to the Board of Directors at SAGE - Society for the Advancement of Gerontological Environments.
Beegle’s appointment was approved unanimously, following a recommendation by the officers and a recent candidacy in their election.
JANUARY 18, 2025 - Three Pillars Senior Living Communities was pleased to announce the hiring of Melissa Curran as their new Chief Financial Officer, a key member of their executive leadership team. With over 30 years of experience in finance and accounting, Curran spent the past two decades working in the industries closest to her heart: healthcare and senior living.
DECEMBER 1, 2024 - Staff and partners of Three Pillars Senior Living Communities shot a video at Riverside Lodge in November with our wonderful resident Ed and his daughter Judy, a frequent visitor and volunteer on our campus. You'll be able to see this commercial on a number of channels including the CW 18 and MY 24, as well as a host of digital platforms like Netflix, Hulu, and more!
NOVEMBER 11, 2024 - Three Pillars has a number of proud veterans on it s campus and three of them sat with a reporter from The Waukesha Freeman to share a handful of their stories for a special article on Veterans Day. OCTOBER 22, 2024 - Three Pillars Senior Living Communities was honored with certification as a Great Place To Work, the second consecutive year our organization has received the distinction! The certification process involved surveying 100 percent of employees on Three Pillars' campus and evaluating more than 60 elements of team members' experience on the job.
SEPTEMBER 23, 2024 - The second-annual Three Pillars Fest was held September 21, 2024. Over 1,100 people attended the four-hour event on Three Pillars’ nature-filled campus and enjoyed a plethora of family-oriented activities including live music, food trucks, Lions Club grill, bingo, kids’ crafts, fishing contest, animal petting area, bounce houses, rock climbing, and more.
