Join the Cozy Kitchen Club at Three Pillars

Who’s Invited:
Individuals living with dementia and their caregivers are warmly invited to join the Cozy Kitchen Club, hosted by Three Pillars' Wellness Connection. These friendly meetups offer a supportive, engaging space for those in the early to middle stages of dementia to enjoy the simple pleasures of cooking together. In our cozy kitchen, participants will prepare, cook, and share a light snack—all while fostering connection, conversation, and community.
Caregivers:
Caregivers are kindly asked to remain on-site during the session. While your loved one participates, you’re welcome to relax, take a tour of the Wellness Connection, or enjoy a complimentary workout in the fitness center.
Free & Open to the Public
Registration is required. Space is limited.

This presentation will guide participants through developing your own customized Passions and Preferences document — an easy to use tool that highlights what brings joy, comfort, purpose, and meaning to their lives. Learn how documenting these elements may support more personalized care and enhance your quality of life.

Planning ahead for your health care decisions can bring peace of mind for you and your loved ones. This presentation explores how a thoughtfully crafted Health Care Power of Attorney empowers you to guide your future medical care with clarity and confidence.
You’ll learn the essential steps to creating a Health Care Power of Attorney, including how to identify and choose the right person to serve as your decision-maker—someone who can honor your values and wishes if you are unable to speak for yourself.
If you already have a Health Care Power of Attorney in place, this session will also explain when the document becomes active and the important responsibilities and authority your chosen agent may carry out on your behalf.
Participants will leave with a clear understanding of how this vital document helps protect their preferences and supports their overall well-being.

SPARK! Alliance
SPARK! is a cultural program for people with early-to-mid-stage memory loss and their care partners. Programs are designed to keep participants actively engaged in their communities by providing experiences that stimulate conversations, provide peer support and inspire creativity through creative engagement, workshops and programs.

Memory Lane Lending Library
Memory Lane Lending Library is a pilot program designed to provide an opportunity for family members whose loved ones are experiencing dementia the ability to try out items that could alleviate some of the behaviors accompanying dementia before purchasing their own. A variety of social-emotional, environmental adaptations, sensory interventions and educational resources are available for checkout for a period of two weeks.
Puzzles, fidget items, adaptive recreation, materials for orientation, games, independent living aids, books and videos for caregivers and people with dementia and more are available. If your community group or business is seeking a speaker on cognitive health topics such as memory loss, brain health or caregiver needs, we’re here to help. We offer customized presentations designed to address your specific needs and interests. We are pleased to offer complimentary, individualized training for families who are supporting a loved one experiencing memory loss or dementia.
