An Evening of Music and Memories: Three Pillars' Fundraising Gala
You're invited to join us at a special signature event - our formal fundraising gala at the Marriott Milwaukee West! Please save the date for Friday evening, May 8, 2020. Friends and family can make a gift in honor or memory of their loved ones, with the option of placing an engraved brick on our Tribute Path, or a bench or picnic table on our picturesque campus. This is a meaningful way to pay tribute to someone special in your life all while supporting the mission of Three Pillars Senior Living Communities.
Our Tribute Path starts by the entrance of Compass Point and leads to the beautiful Memorial Garden, located along the Bark River. It’s a tranquil setting offering an opportunity for residents, family members, and visitors to take a peaceful stroll or sit and stay a while. Three Pillars' Wish Club
Be a part of making wishes come true! Brand new in 2020, Three Pillars' Wish Club aims to maximize joy and minimize regrets by granting the wishes of our residents. No wish is too small or too unique. While we regret that we can't grant every wish submitted or huge wishes like an African safari trip, our Wish Club committee reviews all submissions anonymously and uses creativity, connections, and persistence to grant wishes of all kinds. All residents are eligible to have a wish granted - they may submit their request themselves, or loved ones or staff members are encouraged to submit a wish on behalf of a resident. Three Pillars is pleased to participate in Operation Freedom, a partnership with the Lake Country Freemasons and Stars & Stripes Honor Flight, Inc.
This initiative seeks to accomplish a twofold goal: 1) That every eligible veteran who resides on our Dousman campus will travel on an Honor Flight. 2) That each of their travel companion guardians will fly at no cost.
You’re invited to support this special initiative. While Stars & Stripes Honor Flight covers the cost for veterans to participate in the program, travel companion guardians pay $500 for the honor of escorting a veteran to Washington, DC. Tax-deductible donations to Operation Freedom help ensure that guardians accompanying Three Pillars veterans are able to participate at no cost. Your tax-deductible gift will help make the dream of an Honor Flight a reality for all our residents and their guardians! Making an online donation is simple and secure using the “Donate Now” button above and selecting “Operation Freedom Fund” from the designation dropdown box.
Grateful residents and family members often want to show their appreciation to those who provide care and compassion. This fund provides this opportunity. Gifts are used to provide added benefits or “perks” such as gift cards or tickets for zoo or sports events. Staff is sent a special recognition letter.
Resident Support Fund
This fund is for those residents who have outlived their financial resources, so that Three Pillars may continue its tradition of not asking them to leave because of the inability to pay for their care.
Every year Three Pillars hosts two very special annual community events which offer sponsorship opportunities to help to underwrite the expense.
In August, Friends and Family gathers together residents, family, and community members for a day of fun including a delicious chicken dinner and fun family events. Our Halloween Haunted Woods event is a longtime community tradition that attracts over 1,000 participants each October and is a huge favorite for the residents.
Planning a gift allows a donor to coordinate his or her giving with financial, tax, and estate needs to maximize the gift and provide positive consequences for the donor. Examples of Planned Giving:
