Charitable Giving

All gifts make a difference.

Three Pillars Senior Living Communities (aka Wisconsin Masonic Home, Inc.) is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization providing exceptional housing and compassionate care to meet the physical, social, and spiritual needs of older adults.

In 1905, Willard Van Brunt generously gifted a 300-acre farm, mansion and other buildings in Dousman, Wisconsin to serve as the first housing community. Since then, people like Willard have carried on the legacy of giving by supporting Three Pillars Senior Living Communities.

Supporting older adults with a gift to Three Pillars Senior Living Communities can be directed to a specific fund, project or community. There are many ways to give and all gifts make a difference.

Picnic Table Campaign

We are excited to give our Pavilion in the Park a facelift! And, we would love to beautify the entire area with beautiful new picnic tables to make the whole space more inviting for picnics, family gatherings, concerts and other activities.

The new tables are made from a lightweight composite material on a powder-coated steel frame, and each one costs $675.

Our goal is to raise $15,000 to replace up to 20 or even 25 picnic tables by May 1, 2022.

We are delighted to announce that the Wisconsin Knight Templar Foundation will match every dollar donated up to $5,000.

Please consider helping to fund a picnic table, in any amount that feels right to you.

To donate, head to the Picnic Table Fundraiser, page.

Resident Support Fund

This charitable care program allows residents to benefit from Three Pillars’ services even if they face unexpected financial challenges and/or outlive their resources (and when government assistance alone cannot fully provide for their care).

Currently, up to 45% of residents in each of our Three Pillars communities rely on our Resident Support Fund (with the exception of Independent Living). They are exceedingly thankful for the opportunity to remain in the comfort and familiarity of their homes when times get tough.

Staff Appreciation and Emergency Fund

Show your gratitude for our staff by making a gift in their name. Your support will directly provide them with deeply appreciated "perks" (such as meals, gift cards, etc.), plus funds to help them through current financial challenges.

Wish List

Items on our Wish List directly enhance programs and services throughout Three Pillars. Gifts of any amount towards any of our items are greatly appreciated. Thank you for your interest and support.

Picnic Tables ($675 or any amount): We need to replace 25 of our 30+ year-old picnic tables, which are no longer safe and secure for our residents and guests. The new tables are made from a lightweight composite material on a powder-coated steel frame.

Holiday Unit Makeover ($500 per unit): Help decorate our newly renovated Health Care Center neighborhoods (Meadows, Rivers, Woods) with fully decorated trees, porch and living room/fireplace décor, and tabletop centerpieces for the various holidays.

CBRF Model Room Furnishings ($150 - $1,500):  One of our top priorities right now is to furnish two “model rooms” in the new Riverside Lodge to showcase for potential residents. We are seeking support from the community to help us equip each room with an electric bed, dresser, nightstand, and a lift chair. One room will be set up for a couple, while the other will be a single.

Adaptive Equipment ($60-$150): This includes hearing amplifiers, wireless Bluetooth headphones and basic headphones, book stands, portable DVD players, and dry erase message boards.

Beauty Salon Services ($Donor Choice): Donations will fund beauty salon services for those with limited financial resources. (A typical haircut is $20.)

Entertainment ($200-$400): This can include sponsoring musicians, comedians, expert speakers, and other forms of entertainment for our residents.

Craft Supplies ($100-$400): We appreciate items such as small canvases, new paints and brushes, and paint pads.

Resident Luncheon Packages ($150 each): Residents can enjoy a special luncheon with food provided by a local restaurant.

It’s Never 2 Late ($450/annual subscription): This 12-month subscription provides video chat capabilities for residents and their care providers and/or family members. It also covers brain games, travel videos, and other educational activities designed to keep older adults mentally engaged.

Yarn: Our resident crafters would be grateful for full skeins of bright colored yarn (knitted worsted 4ply is preferred) to make hats, mittens and scarfs which will then be donated to various local charities. Donations of yarn may be dropped off at any Concierge desk on campus. Gift cards to Hobby Lobby, Jo-Anne Fabrics, or Walmart are also appreciated.
