🐾PAW-SITVELY THE BEST FIELD TRIP EVER! ✨
Residents of Village on the Square recently enjoyed a tail-wagging good time with a special behind-the-scenes tour of Humane Animal Welfare Society - HAWS of Waukesha!
Did you know HAWS cares for more than 10,000 animals each year? From dogs and cats to turtles, lizards, guinea pigs, and more—every creature gets a safe place to land. They even host volunteer “Shelter Slumber Pawty” nights so pets can enjoy extra love and companionship. (We’re still not sure if the turtles get invited 🐢😉.)
The visit ended on the sweetest note—watching one lucky adopted pup head home with a handcrafted treat jar made by the VOS “Crafts for a Cause” group. Talk about a perfect send-off!
A heartfelt thank you to HAWS and their incredible volunteers for creating such a compassionate, caring community for animals in need. 🐾💛
