Join us for a special meet the author event with Alison Hayes, author of “Take My Patty: Memory Fades, But Love Remains”. Inspired by her grandmother’s journey with Alzheimer’s disease, Alison’s heartfelt book explores the enduring power of love, connection, and cherished memories through the eyes of a child and grandparent. During this engaging program, Alison will share the personal story behind the book, discuss the impact of memory loss on families, and offer insights into using storytelling to foster understanding and compassion.

This is a free, in-person talk hosted by Three Pillars Senior Living Communities. Event is open to the public. Registration is appreciated but not required.
Jennifer Graf, MHA, CDCP, Senior Director of Cognitive Health, will also discuss additional books, tools, and community resources available to help families talk with children about Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias in age-appropriate and meaningful ways. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions, connect with the author, and discover resources that support families navigating dementia and memory loss.
