She came to her artistic calling unexpectedly. Although always interested in art, she pursued a more secure career in court reporting. She and her husband visited their first rock art site in 1993. Since then rock art has remained her sole artistic focus and she now has twenty years of experience visiting and painting rock art sites across North America and Australia, with an emphasis on Wisconsin and the greater Lake Superior region.
