Memory Loss Webinar Series
You're invited to join us and watch a series of FREE webinars—both live and recorded—exploring important topics in brain health and dementia care. These sessions will cover the value of brain donation for advancing research, effective communication strategies for interacting with loved ones experiencing memory loss, and ideas for providing meaningful activities that enhance quality of life. For those interested, a group discussion will follow each viewing.

Sleep for Better Brain Power - Dr. Michelle Braun

Did you know prioritizing optimal sleep helps your brain function faster, remember better, and just may help minimize your risk of Alzheimer’s disease? Optimal sleep also helps reduce your risk of accidents and maximizes mood, quality of life, and immune functioning.
Join Dr. Michelle Braun, a Yale- and Harvard-trained neuropsychologist, renowned cognitive health expert, and best-selling author of “High-Octane Brain,” for an important talk on the importance of optimal sleep. Dr. Braun will share tips to give your brain the sleep it needs to function at optimal levels. You will also learn how to recognize sleep disorders, such as insomnia and sleep apnea, and make your sleeping environment a haven to maximize sleep quality.
COST: $15 (includes handouts of the presentation)

Memory Lane Lending Library
Memory Lane Lending Library is a pilot program designed to provide an opportunity for family members whose loved ones are experiencing dementia the ability to try out items that could alleviate some of the behaviors accompanying dementia before purchasing their own. A variety of social-emotional, environmental adaptations, sensory interventions and educational resources are available for checkout for a period of two weeks.
Puzzles, fidget items, adaptive recreation, materials for orientation, games, independent living aids, books and videos for caregivers and people with dementia and more are available. Don’t know what you are looking for? Call or email to learn about what is available based upon your loved one’s needs.
SPARK! Alliance
SPARK! is a cultural program for people with early-to-mid-stage memory loss and their care partners. Programs are designed to keep participants actively engaged in their communities by providing experiences that stimulate conversations, provide peer support and inspire creativity through creative engagement, workshops and programs.
SPARK! programs are FREE for families to attend together in a comfortable environment led by specially-trained staff and volunteers (SPARKprograms.org).”
We will share information on new programs and events as they become available.

Brain Health Group
Our Brain Health Group provides a supportive space for individuals interested in enhancing their cognitive well-being. Each meeting features discussions on various aspects of brain health, including nutrition, exercise, mental stimulation, stress management and new breakthroughs. Participants engage in interactive sessions, share experiences, and gain practical strategies to support their cognitive function. The group fosters a sense of community and empowerment, helping members stay informed and proactive about maintaining their brain health.
Meetings: fourth Monday each month at 1pm at Village on the Square (314 E Village Ct, Dousman).
