Presented by:  Milwaukee County Historical Society Historian, Steve Schaffer

Milwaukee’s love for festivals runs deep—long before the celebrations at H. Maier Festival Park, the city’s festival tradition dates back to the mid-19th century! From early Sängerfests and Turnfests to today’s major events, historian Steve Schaffer will take us on a journey through Milwaukee’s roots and enduring passion for festivals.

Time: 11:15am – 1:30pm

Cost: $15.00 per person

Seating for lunch begins at 11:15 am in River’s Edge Restaurant. The presentation begins at 12:30pm.

Menu ~

Caesar Salad

Romaine lettuce, grape tomato, and Parmesan cheese.

Pesto Chicken Lasagna

Chicken, pesto cream, Mozzarella and Ricotta cheese between layers of pasta.

Tiramisu

Mascarpone cheese, espresso-soaked ladyfingers and cocoa.
