She came to her artistic calling unexpectedly. Although always interested in art\, she pursued a more secure career in court reporting. She and her husband visited their first rock art site in 1993. Since then rock art has remained her sole artistic focus and she now has twenty years of experience visiting and painting rock art sites across North America and Australia\, with an emphasis on Wisconsin and the greater Lake Superior region. \n\nGeri will talk about that transition from working in the structured courtroom to the free-flow life of an artist. She’ll also share photos and stories of some of the many ancient petroglyph and pictograph sites visited along the way. Copies of her book will be available for purchase and some of her artwork will be on display.\n\n\nLunch menu –\n \nCaesar Salad: Romaine lettuce\, Parmesan\, croutons\, and grape tomatoes tossed with classic Caesar dressing. \nChicken Marsala: Chicken breast with creamy Marsala gravy served over garlic mashed potatoes with petite green beans. \nGrasshopper Pie \nPlease let us know as soon as possible if you have any allergies.
