If you talk to our Concierges on our Dousman campus, they would describe themselves as mobile and responsive. You'll find that our Concierges are much more than a greeter seated at a desk – they’re interwoven throughout the buildings working with residents or families on any number of tasks.
When we first implemented this customized Concierge Service approach in our community in 2006, our vision was to develop a role that would meet the needs of residents and their families in a unique way. To us, it’s about helping residents maintain their independence and live better lives. The result of that vision is a role that supports our philosophy and empowers our residents.
It's difficult to capture everything that our Concierges do on a daily basis, because every day is a new adventure for them. Whether it’s addressing letters, assisting with scheduling an appointment, or spending time sitting down to review the day’s activity offerings, if a resident or family member has a request, our Concierges respond. Perhaps the most important role they play is that of a caring and responsive friend who is there to listen, which, in the end, demonstrates the commitment and dedication to our residents that makes Three Pillars such an amazing place to live.
Our full time team of Lifestyles and Recreational Therapy professionals at our Dousman campus are devoted to providing a calendar that’s chock-full of offerings to enhance our residents’ lives, be it recreational, educational, physical, social, emotional, or spiritual in nature. Click here to view complete calendars in our different living areas, featuring everything art classes to service projects to trivia, themed meals, and live music. We hear it over and over again from our residents – they love that there is a full schedule of opportunities, and you pick what you’d like to participate in - or not, when you feel like it - or not.
Excellent meals at our Dousman location are about creating an experience. They’re about stunning food presentation. They’re striking a balance between classic fare and new cuisine. They’re about a comfortable, gracious setting accompanied by top-notch servers.
