The Lifestyles Department provides recreation services campus wide that facilitate the development, maintenance, and expression of a personalized and meaningful leisure lifestyle for all residents. Our goal is to improve and maintain the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our residents. Each level of care has a calendar of programs that match the interests and abilities of the people we serve. We strive to provide educational and community opportunities on and off campus. Programs range from book clubs, exercise and tai chi classes, outings, music therapy, lunch and learns, musical entertainment, card groups, cognitive games, arts and crafts, and coordination of spiritual groups/programs. Qualified Recreation Therapists and Activity Professionals assess, coordinate, and facilitate programs at all levels.

Multi-tasking is our buzzword, our missions are many. We strive to lend a helping hand to our residents in a discreet manner, creating an environment to help them achieve personal successes, however large or small. Examples of these might be helping to write and address cards to friends, and topping that off by snapping a picture and sending it along. Need an address, or a stamp? We've got that covered too. Looking to pick out a gift and get it mailed to that special person? We can browse a catalog or on-line together. Friends and family will be pleased that they were remembered, making everyone feel good! We go the extra mile, and have fun while we’re doing it! To us, there is no group more deserving of our respect and service than our senior citizens.
